OH ****...i messed up my pants....*drool*

spoolin you're the man...glad to see everything is going so well...can't wait till you turn that sucker on and get it dynoed!

I also have just four words...You Are The MAN!!!!!! VERY NICE! Can you make another please?
Got Boost? :D

Spoolin..... very nice job!

I saw a turbo installation from Extreme Machine on a Honda Civic SiR at Extreme Machine shop last week and it look awsome too. I'll probably get my MP3 turbo in a couple of weeks. I think I'll wait to see your comment on your car before get mine done. So keep up the good work!!!

I can't wait to see how it will run!

:D

Bad as can be!!!! nice work dude! I can apreciate the time and effort you put into the turbo! Ialso hope your tuning goes easy for you :D

 And they said that it could not be done. Mannn I got to hand it to you...that is a work of art, u have there...functionality aside. I still can't believe my eyes that you have actually made it come together finally. Mad props to ya....U should market your ingenuity to other bigtime companies out there...cuz they sure ain't got the brains to do it already. When they know that there is a big market out there for enthusiasts (MP3/P5)
Now lets hopefully see the great dyno results...

Thanks guys! You can't even comprehend how excited I am. I don't know if you guys now but anything that is turbo related I love. Besides my job, family, friends and girlfriend(who actually knows alot about turbocharger sytems)I am a turbo junkie and fanatic, its like my obssession.....haha. Nothing brings a tear to my eye like the sound of a turbo spooling and ending with a climatic hiss from the BOV.

But on a serious note....I am glad you guys like it, it has been a big mission and project to do this and its not even done.

I have asked this question on the forum recently, how many of you guys would have interest in having a kit available like this? I have gotten some emails from some intrested people but in the grand scheme of things what are you guys willing to pay? What do you guys want...ie like engine managment and fueling issues?

I may serously consider mass producing this and selling it as a kit, what you guys think. Or perhaps I can just make the manifold available and you guys can custom piece a turbo kit togeteher. Or how about getting a non-intercooled kit that would be about 1500 cheaper than an intercooled one and offering an upgrade kit when ever that person gets more money and can easly build up there system....kinda like a stage 1 and 2.
All your input and info would be appreciated.
thanks

man, i would more than interested once i see some dyno results, but i like the looks a lot, seems like a fine job to me and besides, being that u r an enthusiast is better for our confidence for the car.

yep, because seems like every other company out there is taking forever to develope one, and if u get good gains with this kit, u proof that its reliable, we will surely be yer customers! :D

I am down with the stage 1 and stage 2 idea. That would be great ifthe kit will cost more the $2000.00US, So if we could get the non-I/C system first that would be great I think. I will email you and give more thoughts.

I am really happy to see that he's is nearing completion of his kit. But, I 'd also like to remind people to not get to far ahead of themselves. I'm confident that Spoolin knows what he's doing, but there are other issues that will need to be addressed before a turbo can be released. Things like daily drivability, how much boost is safe, drivetrain issues, how will the rest of the engine bay react to the added heat. I'm sure there won't be anything unexpected, but it's always better to be cautious and like I said, if anyone knows what they're doing, I'm sure Spoolin does. Congrats bro, glad to see you did it.

As far as mass production, I was wondering if you would have access to jet-hot coating, polishied intercoller piping, stainless steel exhaust manifolds, stuff like that. Worse comes to worse, I'll buy an exhuast manifold and have one made in the same design as your, but in SUS instead. I love the bling of stainless :D

MP3OWNER I like that pic thats sweet, hopefully when I trim the bumper it will come out clean like that.

Thanks for the info guys. And Apexi is right too. My car will be the b**** guini pig. I will address issues such as daily drivability, and where do I need extra heat shielding in order to keep things reliable and running and how the drivetrain holds up but I have alot of confidence in that.

Apexi as for the stainless manifold.....I really love that stuff too but I had reliability problems with cracking over time in the past with stainless. Stainless is better for race applications but I really want reliabilty, that comes before everything. I am so paranoid about blowing up my motor......oh and yes I can jet coat stuff with no problems and chrome.

I initially was going to run at 12 psi but I found out that the weak link on our motors(i dont know how accurate this is) is the rods and they can go no more than 9psi over time. So I plan on running 8psi too keep things safe and wait for somedy elso to test the limitatations and boost threshold of our motors. I have confidence with the proper fuel and tuning we can run 12psi but I am not taking that chance.

So I am guessing that at 8si I can extract about 190whp which is 220 hp. but only the dyno will tell the truth!

I think your biggest profit from selling these would be from the tubular manifold you built. I think it looks damn good. I would be down with buying just a manifold and maybe a intercooler and then do the rest myself. A turbo system isn't that expensive. It's just that when you buy a pre-fab one, you pay for R&D costs, then the name and guarantee. Turbo manifolds normally cost about the same as a header. You can get a T# turbo for around $150 to $250. Then the rest of the cost will be the BOV and IC piping. The hard part about our car is that there isn't a mass produced turbo manifold. So if you mass produce anything, I think it should be the manifold and the intercooler. Just my 2 cents. Let me know what you think.
