SPOOL springs REAR

I had one of the first ever sets of spools and my rear never did settle. I cut them, ****** them up, and then installed Sprint springs. INstant 2" drop all the way around:D

having some major storms go through today, so will try and take some later or first thing tomorrow. the sprints really are a lot better than the spools. better design, firmer ride and overall just feels like it a better spring. will get some pics though a.s.a.p.:D

this is all such a pain in the ass... i got my replacement set with me and need to get them installed but i dont wanna fork out the $$ once again just to have the back end looking like s***... i wish i had gone with a dif brand if its only spools that **** up... s*** what to do what to do... someone in here contact terry and let us know whta he says about this potentially msp exclusive problem

I dont think this is just a MSP problem ... Mp3's too.

The springs cost $200.00 (plus shipping) and the install costs another $200.00 (or more)

The re-install costs $200.00 more dollars, so at the end this is over a $600.00 ordeal, and still no fix.

** Drops to knees, crying **

"All I want is the drop that was on Terry's car @ the gas station!"

** Cries some more, begging **

"Please Terry, HELP US!"

** Gets up, looking around to make sure no one witnessed what just happened **

i think we need to call him. so someone should call him and point him towards this thread. I PMed him but he doesnt check all his PMs (gets a ton i believe)

The problem is, we all are expecting the gas station drop and i doubt that any of us have that. We need to decide what is "normal" for the SPOOL springs and what is "too high"

Original batch (before the changes). I like them, but the rears are definitely not the gas station drop I was hoping for. I even had about 120lbs in my back seat for about a week...

Was there another set of replacement springs sent out, or are you talking about the ones that went out like 2 months ago? I got mine a few months agou, and they were the same height(if not higher) than stock. I ended up chopping off 1 1/2 coils, and it's STILL not even with the front. Oh well, it's better than it was:rolleyes: I can't chop any more though...Too worried to try it.

Don't cut springs.

EVER.

What are sprint springs all about?

yeah, that is def not the "gas station" drop ... my front end seems to be lower than that.

I take that back .. prob the same height ... just seems lower due to the AUTOEXE.
