Spool Dyno #s are in!

spo0Lin guys....doesnt it suck when other vendors have nothing else better to do but try and make you look bad?? its like their posts arent good enough, so they use yours, which they know will have a lot of traffic, to try and push their products.....sounds kinda gay to me and like they dont have the "selling power" to do it on their own.

just my opinion

oh, and thats some pretty good numbers!!

also, whats the difference between these msp and our turboed pro5/mp3?? i mean...you guys are getting high 250/260hp with only 13psi on the other cars...is it just the fact that its the microtech or the bigger turbo?? just wondering

Ion- is it just me or is this a post about spool? No offence or anything but lay off the thread jacking...
THANK YOU!

It's about time someone with some 'respect' around here mentions this.

To avoid any confusion of dissrespect in the future:

If a vendor (vendor1) makes a thread about his product, and another vendor (vendor2) with a similar product wants to dispence info on their (vendor2) product, it would be in good taste to start a new thread, or link to a thread already out there.

Asking questions is ok.:p

A few of us had those opinions formed long before now, sadly. Spool all the way!

I whole heartedly agree. I've seen this type of posting/jacking done by the same vendor in other places as well. We are by no means biased towards terry/chris at all. Pure principles. Any vendor should be able to commend other vendors for their hard work.

Asking questions to further acquire knowledge is fine. Based on principles alone a vendor should know to stick to his own thread or make one. I'm sure there are threads about the other products out there.

Man, this just keeps happening. Dropping a competitor's price in another vendor's thread, by the competitor is a serious NO NO, imo. I absolutely love the fact that reputable/experienced facilities are producing parts for the proteges. I love all vendors. But must be done by following the unspoken "FORUM RULES OF ENGAGEMENT".

peace, Rishie

I'm real tired. Sorry if this doesn't make much sense. Sentence construction just went down the toilet.

OH. SPOOL GUYS. Awesome. Keep up the good work. Hopefully after we move I can be more social and actually call up you guys again to see how things are going.

Ion, I know you guys are doing a phenomenal job and at quite an amazing rate. Please don't take my criticisms in the wrong way.

heh.

lets keep it simple guys, we dont need to start wars on every thread, and continue our bad name of being "stubborn and unfriendly" msp owners. ion, not trying to flame or anything, but you should have pmed him if you wanted to give him info on the product.

anyway, good luck to everyone.

Also if you want to buy a boost controller with the rest of the pieces (Greddy profec B spec II) the price is $325 (reg. $355)

I can only assume since thats what there offering, that might be what they used :)

For those guys who didn't read our first post here, we didn't mean any disrespect to the guys @ Spool. We just wanted to clarify the testing methods/procedures so those who are interested in learning can understand the empirical results presented.

This way for those interested, they're comparing apples to apples and not apples to oranges.

We only posted here after seeing the vague post by Spool on another info thread. http://www.msprotege.com/vbb225/showthread.php?threadid=29816&perpage=15&pagenumber=4

spoolinmp3 - If you guys feel that clarifying data to allow for an "apple to apple" comparison is undermining, then we truely appologize. No hard feelings :)

ARD MP5 - No hard feelings, we totally understand your view. However as mentioned, the motivation behind posting in the first place was to provide info to those who're interested in learning.

Maybe, maybe not. Jus10 MSP had the JoePMBC on his car before and they may have used that.
Which I have questions for Jus10 MSP myself?
Did you put your car back to the way you had it before. Did you stay with Spool's setup. If so, have you noticed a difference between having a CAI vs a SRI?
What boost was you car at original - i.e. stock?
What dyno did you run on? I.E. was it Urban Mechanicals? Or was it another dyno machine?
Do you have JoeP's Fuel cut? If so was this taken off during testing? If not, then why did you still get hesitation problems?
Was the temp taken? I.E. was the heat soak bad? How bad did it get?
I think that is it for now, but I will probably have specific questions later.

Spool - SWEET! I'm all over this stuff!

People - thank you finally for speaking up about the thread jacking. It's all over the forum and it's annoying as hell.
