Spoiler removal (TONS of pics)

Hey everyone,

Im doing a spoiler swap with another member and figured Id show you how the mazdaspeed3 spoiler comes off and what you can expect to see..

Here are some pics and measurements of all the clips and screws. PARDON THE NEW ENGLAND SALT ALL OVER THE CAR

For those of you wondering how to remove the MS3 spoiler, there are (4) 10mm nuts underneath, then unplug the brake light harness and then you have to pull very hard to unclip the spoiler. I almost sh*t myself when the clips came undone.... **BOOOOM-BOOM!**

I ignore ignorance and for the record, the headlights ARE NOT TINTED, dipshit. My light output has NOT been altered. Do some research before bashing peoples originality, HATER.

LOL, well maybe i'm confusing you with another 2nd Gen MS3 that just recently tinted and blacked out head lights and tail lights. Either way, i'm not being a hater. I just see someone with a set of tools ripping apart a brand new car for no reason. Sorry for the observation if it offended.

And for the record, a hater is typically someone who is jealous/envious/bitter/spiteful towards someone for doing/having/done something they'd want to do themselves, but can't. None of what you've done to your car is something I envy or desire to do. Therefore, I prefer the term "critic", not "hater".

Dude, you're taking this way out of context. All I asked was "Why?" Why would you buy a MS3, put a MZ3 spoiler on it, then start ripping apart the car like a 2 year old with a set of crayons in an empty house. If you take s*** that personally, you're not going to have any friends on the forum if you can't take criticism.

And, I PM'd you because you blasted some bulls*** on my profile page which I had to delete, and suggested if you had s*** to say, say it to me in a PM rather than on my profile page. So..go cry about it?

Which spoiler did you replace the stock one with? Interesting design of the OEM one that it's a dual stack one.

IMO the MZ3 spoiler looks so much nicer than that nasty 2-spoiler thing that came on the 2010 MS3.

Its a daily driver not a race car. I have a 2 year old and a 1 month old riding in back. The last thing Im concerned about is a lil more downforce from a spoiler. I much rather it look nicer to suit my own taste.
