Splash Guards for CX 9, 2017

I ordered and installed my front and rear splash guards the other day. The parts guy at the Tuttle Click dealership gave them to me at cost, $35 each, $70 for both sets since it was for a new car purchase. Nice that they offered the reduced price. Took me about 2 hours to install all 4. Overall, fairly easy and straight forward. Mazda had good instructions. See the pics below.

Hi I just received the splash guard but I have a quedtion installing the rear did you have to cut the splash guard ?? How did you install them ,

As I recall the instructions call for cutting small notches in both the splash guards and the corresponding fender liners in order to install the clip nuts that secure the guards.
