spin on adapter sensor removal

so i have been installing my spin - on oil filter adapter on my this morning and all went well, except i apparently dont have the right wrench to remove the oil sensor from the old bracket , so i cant install it on the new bracket.

my car is currently incapacitated, so if anyone has done this or knows what size wrench i need to remove the sensor please help!

i got it off with a vice and an adjustable wrench, i guess they do have their uses after all.
