Speed6 Clutch...............

my warranty is about over in 1500 miles and i was wondering if the dealership would change out my clutch and change fluids if i requested? i have about 48k miles

for the fluids..do it yourself.. you can buy some royal purple synthetic 75-90 and do all the gears and diffs in an hour easy.. you just need a decent oil pump, jacks and wrenches.. the dealers charge bank for this simple procedure.. its not much harder than doing the oil.. just make sure you losen the RIGHT bolts!! on the rear diff theres only one.. but on the trannny theres several bolts.. so be careful!! i forget the center diff?? probably just one?? its a good DIY.. trust me youll save like $200!!

and no one will change this clutch for free or as a service item.. its only warantied from defects from mazda for 12k miles..

ooh i see, yea i was plannin on doing the drivetrain fluids soon but just wanted to check if the clutch would be covered under warranty...thanks for the help yall and for the link BlenderCloud.

i've got 34k on my stock clutch and it still feels the same from day one. i learned how to drive manual in this car and i beat it pretty good too. Doing launches at around 4.8k rpm and FFS and the clutch is still running strong
