Speed3 Sale?

I'm in the market for a speed3 right now and there was one was I was interested in that sold about 2 weeks ago to a guy from canada. He must have loved it enough to fly from canada to California. It was posted all over the internet with tons of pictures, decent price and mazda certified pre-owned. Now just this morning the same car posted back up from the same dealer but this time he left the price unlisted and no pics. Should I be worried that there might be something wrong with this car since the other guy didn't buy it and now it seems like the dealer is hidding the original information?

What do you guys think?

I'm not sure how their computer systems are, but I do e-commerce updating here at work. And my only guess is that the car was deleted first. Then maybe the sale didn't go through and they put the minimum info for the car to be posted on the site, but left out the photos and such in the mean time.

Are you worried that the sale didn't go through because of an issue with the car? Or are you worried about the missing photos and such?

More worried about issues with the car. I mean it has a clean carfax and includes the extended warranty so maybe the guy didn't want it. Typically in a situation like this would the dealer be willing to make a deal since he is trying his hand at selling it again?

no, dealers always keep limited information so that you must inquire about the vehicle at the dealership....it's a technique to get the customers into the building, for a higher closing rate

so the dealer is going to try and get more money out of the speed3 now that he didn't make the sale the first time? A cars value goes down the longer the dealer has it so in reality he should lower the price for me.

A bit off topic but being from Canada I payed 31k just before our dollar balooned and now its at par and your cars are only 25 with nav or somehting close to it. So im pissed.

Im still hopeing for mazda canada to reduce their prices so that when my g/f's car dies we can get the mazda 3 we want.

maybe that's why the guy from canada flew down here to get the car. but it still doesn't explain why he didn't buy it? This is a used 2007 GT with only 10k miles for 20 grand.

He flew down and DIDNT buy the car. WOW thats just stupid. He probably spent 1000$ just for the flight. For 20k I would go anywhere in NA to pick up a car thats essentially the same as mine with 17000km aka 10500miles or so.

I knew it was too good to be true! The reposting of the car was a clerical error and it's still sold to the canadian guy. Damn! I really thought I was going to be a speed3 owner soon! :(
