thats so ****** dangerous........i didnt think that was funny at all. I would sue the city for some s*** like that if my car got ****** or almost wrecked.
those idiots probably took the signs down, there is no way something like that would last for more than an hour without being fixed it is too dangerous
How is it at all funny? All theses cars are getting nearly destroyed/messed up. Hitting a speed bump at high speed is dangerous and could be seen by all the vehicles that probably damaged their suspension in some way, the many who hit their exhaust or undercarriage when landing, the car in the far lane almost crashing into the car in front of it and the last car almost flipping over. These people were ruining other peoples cars and peoples lives were in danger, not funny.
This happened at NC State one year. i was a freshman and they always had a large speedbump on one of the main roads, but it wasn't big enough to cause any major problems. Everyone who knew it wasn't that big of a bump and wasn't too concerned about their car just flew over it anyway. One day they made it a lot bigger and they didn't change any of the warning signs. We sat out there for hours laughing our asses off as people came flying through there expecting the same old little bump. Some of the taxis actually cleared the whole 10ft of the speedbump.
Yeah, I did that in my old autoX miata one night. It was raining and the speedbump wasn't marked or painted and was totally invisible. I was turning around in the lot and was sort of hauling ass to the other side. Miata with super stiff suspension + ~1 inch suspension travel + 50mph + big ass bump = ouch.
I would be really, really pissed if I hit that in my P5.
