speed 6 front grill

I want a new grill so bad. I think the car looks so much meaner without the big silver M in the grill. Anyway I never got one because the autoexe carbon fiber grille is like 500 bucks. Thats crazy. Anway I fould one on ebay thats new and seems like the same thing. Any thoughts? Its like 1/3 the price.

looks really nice. I would just contact the seller make sure its carbon fiber and not an overlay and also make sure it fits on the usdm speed6

Alright appreciate it. I also saw another one for only 100 bucks but it wasnt carbon fiber. Im just a little nervous because ive never purchased anything off ebay. Does it really matter if its carbon fiber? It know it looks cool / is very light but doesnt it turn colors after a little while?

Dont worry about buying it off eday, thats not a problem. Just be sure you pay thru paypal, if you have any problems paypal will take care of it!

As far as the carbon fiber goes it is very durable i have never heard of it fading of changing colors!

It will fade with time, there is no doubt about it. The question is when. If it does, is not hard to fix. You will need to wet sand it with a 1000 grit paper. then just go to Auto Zone and get you some clear coat. Spray it down and recover it with clear. Wet sand with 2000 grit paper then polish, or you can leave it with a dull look so it will kind of look like dry carbon. People with EVO do this because the wing on them tend to peel/fade.

Man that front grill was tricky to remove. Broke 2 clips on the way out too (ones on the bottom near the M emblem). I would rather break 2 stupid clips than bend the entire grill trying to undo them. Wish I knew why the grill has to have about 16 clips. Why cant they just use a few . . . the damn thing is screwed down.
