Hey all. So my friend, Riles, invited me to join the msp board and I'm always up to make new friends and talk cars. So here I am. I included a pic of Riles and I, just so y'all don't think I'm trolling your board. As a side note, any and all are welcome on thevboard.com, an awesome and friendly board as well. I have alot of respect for the msp and have always thought it is a sharp looking car. Oh yeah, I'll post more pics of my car if anyone wants, just say so. See ya round the board! (hi)

welcome to the boards. cool that we are now adding non mazdas! :D

yeah i testdrove one before getting the msp. I didnt like how it wanted to tripod itself and lift the rear wheel in hard cornering. the msp still kindof does it but nothign like the spec v did. But on a side note i LOVED how you could chirp thrid. and the shifter was super sexy

Thanks everyone! Short term goals for the car are catback, motor mounts, and 4-1 header. Then maybe towards end of summer I'll be turboed(naughty)

save the money from the header and put that towards your 'turbo fund'. in fact, save most all of your money (aside from the general items - motor mounts, ss, bushings .. the everyday, better drive items) for the 'FI fund'.

Welcome, I'm a new owner of a Nissan as well. I still own the speed I just needed another car payment to kick me in the nutz (nuts)

heh.. ZTEC... im thinking bout getting the sec v too.. since I got into the fender bender, I want to start a new project.. but looking around, I can barely find aftermarket stuff for the spec.

It's actually CVTC - Continuosly Variable Timing Cams, very often mistaken for VTEC, lol. As for the aftermarket stuff, you just have to know where to look, it's out there ;)

Maybe after I'll that stuff you'll be able to actually see me when I blow by you down the road. Haha, just kidding man.

Aside from when I was in track mode, we were about the same speed all the time. Its always a good race. Good to see you here!

looks real nice. I would get a 2.5" or 3" highflow cat and leave the exhaust/headers until you can get into FI because the headers will have to be taken out if you turbo, and a HF cat will make more of a difference than a catback system from my 4 experiences on 3 cars. those specVs are sweet cars, get a little boost and you ll be beating that mazdaspeed
