Sparkco vs. Magnecor?

I'm curious what the extra cost on the Magnecor wires give you. I personally think the solid silicon sheath looks nicer but I'm not paying that much more just for the looks of something under the hood. I don't show my car.

I know there may be some bias since we have Sparkco represented on this board but not Magnecor as far as I know :)

personally, i think you are paying more for the name and quality associated with it. sparkco are a new company, and thier products might not have the same quality associated with them. of course, i really have no idea, but i would think magnacore's would cost more because of the name. (same reason generic drugs cost more than name brand when they are really the ssame product)

Well there is a Sparkco representative on this here forum(not sure if there is a Magnecor one). Perhaps we could get some unbiased reasoning what the advantages of one over the other are. Sparkco being cheaper is definitely a plus in my book tho.

Hate to break your ballz, but generic and name brand aren't always the same in the drug world. They usually have the same active ingredient, but generics usually have more side effects, etc.

Oh, BTW. Go buy both. Yup. Both. Try them both, see what you like better. Sell the ones you don't like for $5 less than what you paid.

are you sure? my sister works for Bristol Myers in Buffalo, NY and the facility she works in does packageing for thier products as well as produce them. she says that some product lines are produced and when it somes time to package them, the run a certain amount of 'name brand' labels, and a certain amount of 'generic' labels, all off the same production lot. i am not making the general statment that ALL drugs are made this way, but there are a lot that are, probably more than you think.
