Spark plug wire?

Was wondering what type of spark plugs wire i should get? any suggestions? i was thinking about nology hotwires but i have heard bad things about them.

NGK. You can get them from sparkplugs.com at a cheaper price than any other vendor associated with this forum. Search for part number ZE76.

Yup. Definitely the best prices on plugs and wires, and they carry pretty much any brand and model you would ever want.

Well, NGK are much better than the OEM replacement stuff you will get at AutoZone. You can go up a step to Nology or MSD wires, but it's overkill in my opinion. I have never had a problem with my wires, and I've had them for over 25000 miles.

all i noticed was better spark. in the high rpm area...in proved the flames coming out the exhaust too 1-1.5 foot flames.. they do need proper grounding or car willl runn like shyt...

You do realize that has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR SPARK PLUGS. Sorry, I had to write that in all caps just to make my point. Flames coming out of your exhaust pipe is because you car is running too rich, and there is unburnt fuel making it into your exhaust system. That fuel then ignites in your exhaust system and sends flames out the tip.

That fuel then ignites in your exhaust system and sends flames out the tip.

so how come i did nuthing to the car except change wires same tune... how could i have triggerd more fuel to go threw my exhaust.? ever think the wires cause a hotter spark causing more heat to go threw.. to ignite the same amount of fuel that is going "into the exhaust"...


on i wasnt talking about my SPARKPLUGS..... SMART GUY..... if anything i went a step colder the following week to iriniums..

Well the way I see it, if the Hot Wres really are doing a better job you should have less fire or none coming out of your exhaust. The job of the spark plugs and wires is to burn the fuel in the combustion chamber, as we can tell they are not doing their job. That's lost HP you see coming out of your exhaust.

I'm not getting into a flame war about this, but you have no idea what you are talking about. One problem with these forums is you have ignorant people spouting information that they think is factual, when in fact, it is a load of crap. What exactly is "irinium"? maby out of that you can make some sense. On how by improving spark you are getting a Hotter exhaust gas thus making it ignite more.. no one is saying my spark plugs make the flames come out....
