Spark plug change interval!

We have iridium plugs. I would go with Mazda's suggested interval which I believe is 75,000 miles. Check your owner's manual. On the other hand when I replaced ours they looked really good. Make sure you get genuine parts as I believe there has been some problems with counterfeits.

Also I believe NGK is the OEM for our Mazda5s. There are 2 types of Iridium plugs they make with different service life: https://ngksparkplugs.com/en/resources/iridium-ix-vs-oe-iridium-spark-plugs#:~:text=These two plugs perform similarly,40 to 50 thousand miles.

Yeah the OE series (Laser) last longer 80-100k.
Wonder where RockAuto come up with x4? Is Copper plugs supposed to be changed at 30k?

Yes M5 OEM is by NGK.
