I am starting to get ticked off with this noise in my stereo. Alot of people would not even hear it as it is, but it has been louder. Same noise, but varies in intensity mebbe worse in rain, or morning dew. Thought I got rid of it by losing the EQ, but it was back, last nite, after a 2 hour drizzle drive.
I am wondering about doing this voodoo throttle ground mod I have read about.
I bring this up because the noise (when I select AUX with no input signal) can be heard to get louder then drop away after a dipping the throttle a hair.
its not a speed related whine, if you do a baby blip, the noise goes from a base level to a louder level, stays that way for 2~3 sec then drops back to base. independent of engine speed, but triggered by the blip. I can also get the identical response by getting the ac to engage, and similar response by flickin the headlights on and off (uhm)
all this is while sitting in the driveway at idle (no smoke)(lol)
