Anything we can do about all the spam? We seem to be getting more of it than ever before. Anybody else notice this?

It's not just spam, about 80 percent of it is porn spam now too!

my only suggestion was to restrict new users from posting links and websites for the first few 10 posts or whatever. it's a pain, but it works on another forum.

Yeah, and now they're not just creating their own threads, they are posting porn in existing threads...it's no good when the FSDE Oil System thread = boobies.

I wish I could tell you man....the 3rd gen section gets it all day long too, cuz I end up deleting a s*** load of it...

The bots just pick sections at random as far as I know...

Hopefully we'll have a fix soon, we're looking into it

Good good. It's not so bad when you have to physically go into the section titled porn crap, but when you're browsing through "What have you done to your Protege today?" thread and WHAMO!

Hope it gets under control soon. Although, with as often as people get upset with other people on the boards, you'll have an uphill battle fighting off people purposfully spamming the site

yeah, i've noticed an increase of spammers that spam actual threads as opposed to creating threads, those suck bad...

this is why I have images turned off in user cp options lol It just comes up as a link not a pic of nekkid people
