Yeah, pretty much nobody you find is actually going to MAKE the turbo/supercharger. Those are done by companies themselves. It would be in your best interest to trust us and NOT EVER SAY THE WORD THOMAS KNIGHT AGAIN. If you try one of his "kits", I will say you are a complete fool. I have never ever read of anybody who has actually liked one of his "kits".

I wish I could direct you to a thread on probetalk.com (the I4 Ford Probe uses the same engine as the MP3), but they are redsigning their site. The person there that bought the kit said that parts were missing, welds were full of holes, and parts were bent with a hammer to make them fit.

I really hope you have read enough to disuade you from Thomas Knight Turbos. It would be in your best interest to buy spoolinmp3s kit for cheaper, the BEGI kit for a bit more, or TriPoint's kit.

These are my terms to describe a respectable performance car, not all cars.
If the car is over a 8 second 0-60 in the perfomance relm of my eyes it isn't s***!
Basicly Stock Civic, not a sports car, stock P5 not a sports car, stock Corrola not a sports car, stock focus not a sports car.
My Protege plus 8 PSI, getting closer.

I'm not bashing anyones car. If its slow every owner knows it, big deal. Peole take the 1/4 mile times of there car to friggen personaly. I just hate it when people refer to a car as being fast or quick when it can't even break a 16 second 1/4 mile.

Ok, well in the realm of performance cars I'll have to agree with you. I'd consider a 16 second car "swift" but not fast. Makes sense.

yah umm... I'm gonna go ahead and pick a side here... and i think imma go ahead and go w/ kooldino... here are a few reasons why:
kooldino DOES know his s***.. may not know everything.. may not even know as much as other ppl on this board.. but he knows his s***...

mp3boy doesnt know his s***... you should let him get some 10/1s and boost like 25 psi... make sure you have a video camera... cuz that would be good s***...

not that this matters... but theres also those three posts in a row by mp3boy... guess he didnt see that little purple "edit" button beneath his posts...

everyone in this thread is trying to help mp3boy.. they are posting DAMN GOOD information and trying to warn him about a bad product and he is sitting back being cocky arguing w/ everyone that is trying to help him... and hes disagreeing w/ all the advice from ppl who actually know what they are talking about...

and then theres the fact that mp3boy "has been into imports for 3 years and been into cars since he was 10"... well hmm.. lets do the math here... your about 13 and a 1/2 right?? so you had like 6 months exp w/ cars before imports...

I am not sayng in anyway Kool that u have no idea of what u are talking about but it was kinda wrong to go out of ur way and bash MP3boy. Everyone has their stupid questions. I have had some Kool u have had some and i am sure everyone can agree everyone has them. Thats why the board is here so we can all learn. mp3boy, you really should listen to the people here, before i came to this site i really only had a general knowledge of cars, but most of that was good ole pushrod technology. from the people on here ive learned a good deal about my car and its inner workings, and i think you should let them help you.

Yello-mp3...in NO way was I trying to say "don't ask questions" to mp3boy. It's just that when he DID ask questions, and EVERYONE came to the same conclusion (that TKT kits suck), he screams out...(and I quote)

1.a simple search on thomas knight turbos will reveal that this is the case.
2. this matter should have not been brought to the level that it was.
NOW, that settles what the board feels about tkt's
