Sources for take-offs

:
2012 Mazda 2
This past weekend I went Autocrossing for the first time. After a wonderful day out on course I can see myself doing this much more frequently, but I'm afraid that my OEM tires will not be up to the task. I'd like to get a dedicated set of wheels for driving in anger, but don't want to spend too much money if I can avoid it.

My thought was that I would get a set of OEM wheels with the tires still installed (take-offs) and use my stock steelies for something a bit stickier (and more up to the punishment that is an autocross/trackday weekend). Where might one look for a set of take-offs? Ebay has crap right now and the only set in the classifieds is across the country.

I have tried having dedicated tires and it becomes a pain changing it at every event. If you are worried about wear, get the Direzza ZII... they should last you 20,000km with stock alignment. Depending on the class you want to be in RTF or STF, you may be able to upgrade your wheels for wider / lighter ones.

Look on craigslist for 4x100, miata or civic wheels. If you're not going for any specific look you can usually pick something up for cheap.Slap some Direzza ZII and have fun.

Brand new wheels don't have to be that expensive either.... I got these guys and I'm happy with them:

They are $376 for all 4 brand new... and if you consider the free mounting and balance when you buy the ZII, they turn out to be only $300. Keep in mind that this will put you in STF.

Where are you located? I might have something for you.

I just picked up a set of these for the B-Spec 2 for a spare set of wheels. I know several guys running them on B-Spec fits as well, they are tough wheels, cheap and light.

I'm in Southern California. I was hoping to keep the car in RTF, as I don't want to throw too much money at my car until I know what I'm doing.

Swapping really wouldn't be a problem for me, I did it all through college on my baja team. With a battery-powered impact it's pretty quick. I'd like to be able to drive up to Big Bear to go snowboarding/hiking this winter, and just throwing ZII's on the current wheels would make that a problem.
