Source for quality roof rails that allow fitting of proper clamp on bars?

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a second hand CX-5 that came with the plain trim instead of roof rails. I'm looking to install some roof rails but the ones I've found in simple on line searches always seem to have hard to access bolt holes to allow fitting of roof bars that come with the rails in a kit. My previous car had roof rails that allowed clamp on roof bars and I liked how these worked.

Does anyone know where I could source good quality roof rails that would allow fitting of proper clamp on bars?

Do you want to be able to adjust the crossbars location?

Yes for the correct location for my roof box and also kayaks. Also I like the quick, easy fixing of clamp on crossbars.

Mazda changed the design of the roof rails in 2017.
I have seen a number of setups with crossbars that attach directly to the 6mm mounting holes under the plastic drain rail strip.

Crossbars are available... rails..
I saw this here recently that attaches directly to the roof with curved rails.

I dislike how high the factory crossbars sit.

This is the cleanest roof rack accessory I've seen (side rail stands specifically), and can't find any information except for it's appearance on this video.

To me, it's nice when products are form fitting, and not gaudy bolt on crap.
