It is going to be interesting to see who has the fastest Protege' by the end of the summer, very interesting.

I am going to go out on a limb and say 11.2 @ over well 120 mph will be the new record by then (full street trim on slicks). (Corrected times at altitude should count.)

im not gonna promise anything but i def see my p5 going deep into the 11s. its got the setup to do it. just not a cage.

You can get to 11.49 nowadays without a bar depending on the track.

Tell them you have a ProtegeS not a Protege5. That's why it's so fast.

Yes, there should be some Proteges into the 11's, however it is not as simple and easy as it seams. It takes a lot more practice when you are putting more power in the car and the lower the time the more difficult to cut the time. I mean, it is easy to go from 13.5 to 12.5, but from 12.5 to 11.5 it takes a lot more. I hope that all of us who go into this can make it to 11s and show hondas, wrxs, Srt4s, Stis what we are capable of.
