thnaks juan. slicks are hard to drive on also doesnt help the one that spun was hittin the fender. lol i think the car has 11s in it with this setup tuned better.

keep it up..... im 100% sure you could get your car (the way it is) into high 11's with the right launch. low 1.8 or better...

115 mph + a low...low 1.8 or 1.7 = 11.8-11.9 (evil)


so how was it on slicks for the first time? lol... it's a pretty crazy feeling hooking up ALL of first and second gear. (eek2)

lsd help's more for putting POWER down into the turns. it still helps alittle in drag... but not as much as people think. slicks our ur friend.....
 
The lsd is a big help during launching, but when the track is in good condition the times without lsd are not very different. I run mine without the lsd however I have one to put on. I know this is the year for the 11 second ptoteges. I know that Superprotege will hit the 11s soon and when I am done with my engine, I am sure that 11s are for sure. I am doing a built motor with a Gt30/40R hybrid turbo with 3 inch downpipe, external wastegate, intake manifold, 65 lb/hr injectors, fuel pump, etc. So, we will keep working on the Big Boost kit to bring more fun to the protege community.

So, really, this all started in 2003 (turbo Proteges) for the most part. In three years we go from a 17 second car to an almost 11 second car. Good work gentlemen.
