Okay, final advice time guys:
I found a tranny for 350 at S&W salvage, but it's for the 1.6 engine, thus the bellhousing is different from the 1.8. I also found a correct transmission for 550 from some guy online. The transmissions are identical internally, it's just the bellhousing that is different. Would you recommend getting the 350$ one and just swapping diffs? Or waiting FOREVER for the 550$ one to get shipped?
