something squeaking after CAI install?

bean meaning to post this... installed Injen CAI, next day noticed a squeaking sound when driving at low speeds (0 - 10 MPH),, seems more noticeable when giving the car less gas.

anyhow it is really annoying me that I don't know what exactly is causing the squeaking. I popped the hood, everything looks fine. I need to take the next step and just re-tighten every screw which we touched when installing the intake.

thought I'd ask in the mean time in case someone else has run into this same issue.

thx

I would think it is due to some metal-to-metal contact involving the CAI. Engine vibes are a bit higher at low and idle engine speeds.

ya. pretty sure its the bracket where u secure the CAI... mine had a similar prob... a bit of grease and or a rubber grommet can help a lot

Hasta be bracket like said. The intake is vibrating and moving with your engine so its going against the bracket. You might need to tighten it. Altoooo. An idea my friend did once to fix it was weld the bracker to where it was put on.. But thats kind annoying especially if you plan on changing it..
