Just drive by the ports, count how many orange speeds are left.

I'm not getting orange, but I am curious as well. And those that are still waiting for the orange in Canada must be getting pretty pissed off by now. At least an update ( hopefully with good news ) might shed some light for them.

I don't care about pictures(although that would be nice), but a general idea of how many are left would be cool. We haven't heard anything since like early FEB?

Besides, if the orange ones are gone, then production for the 2003.5 "might" begin....unless there's rx-8's sitting at the docks now

Well I will be picking up an Orange one tomorrow. Don't seem to be any black ones around yet and I couldn't get a straight answer out of my local Mazda dealership as to when they would be available. The best I got was "maybe a couple of months." I could have called around but I suspect the answer would have been the same. The bottom line is I would have had to wait and I don't want to do that!

Besides, after seeing so many pics and then going to see the car, the "Spicey Orange" (I think of it as "Metallic Pumpkin") is kind of growing on me.

oh well, guess I'll start test driving other cars.

I mean, if there's at least 50 orange ones left out of the 250 that got there back in what.....Sept? That's about 1 car done per day.

How do they really expect to get 750 more done for this year? yet alone more silver/blue ones. I don't know about you guys, but I have no intention of buying a car that's been sitting outside on some dock, rotting away in the sun and snow for what.....7-8 months and counting?

Snow? Not if they've been docked in Vancouver
Of course, most years you could say the same about the sun, although the past year has been an exception.

Yeah, thats what I had thought. The dealer was talking about a "grey" one which at first I assumed was the black one, but now that I think about it, I have heard mention of a "titanium" one as a 2003.5 model, so I supposed that is what he was referring to.

Anyway, I knew I was going to end up with orange!

dude if your in bc, just go past the docks and you should see about 700 speeds.....yellow, Titanium, and orange. You guys got it lucky, you can just go take a look and pick a color.
