Someone hit me! Tell me why I don't want a Jetta!

The Altima's handling wasn't even close to the Mazda's, and yes I do realize there totally different cars, but the ride and how much fun we had driving the Mazda couldn't compare to just being able to go in a straight line faster. Anyways that makes no sense but you get what I'm saying. I wonder though how long it takes to forget we ordered a Mazda so the time will go by faster?

I used to love vw's, but that's before every single person I knew that bought them, hated them for the poor quality. I also read a lot of auto mags all of which say that the 3 is one bitchin' car for the money.

I'm really interested in Mazda's initial quality since it's below average, but I can't seem to find anyone that has had an overall negative experience.

Barring the new Mustang, which I admit is one sweet ride, the 3 will more than likely be my next car. My only problem is that there's really nothing wrong with my current car, so it may stick with me for awhile.
