someone help me asap PLEASE!

Okay, so i chyecked the fuse box in the engine bay and All of the fuses are fine!
I have no idea what to do....

Maybe try taking off your neg battery cable, wait a few seconds, then reconnect it, do the alarm/disarm thing, and then try it. My car is weird like this.. sometimes when I reconnect the neg cable I have to do it a couple times before my car will crank. Dunno, just see if that may work.

Yeah but that wouldnt explan the temp gauge.
Oh well.
I hate to do this but I guess ill have to take it to a shop.....

I don't know, it was just a thought, I'd be more worried about it not starting than the temp gauge being stuck at high.. it didn't jump off, so that's why I thought maybe the alternator, which could have led the battery to just fizzle out and your car to die. I also wouldn't know if the association between the temp being stuck at high and the fact that it isn't starting would be associated, unless it is a fuse.. one thing could always affect something else, and cause two problems.

Earlier in the thread he said jump-starting the car didn't work. Even if the alt and battery were both toast, a jump would've gotten it started or at least turning over.

If all the fuses are good, IMO there's not a whole lot left to do but start a more detailed electrical diagnosis, which is probably something best left to a shop unless you've got a lot of time/patience or a buddy with some experience.

Then again, there's always the possibility that someone will stumble across this thread and recognize exactly what the problem is... lol

Jumping my car didn't get my car to turn over at all when my battery was completely dead.

Hmm, I've started a car with no battery by using a jumper pack... I guess I was using the term "jump" starting to include using a known good battery to start the car. If the battery was toast, then yeah, using the traditional method of charging the battery off a good alternator wouldn't work too well. *shrug*

Caseman, can you clarify if you've just tried boosting your battery or actually giving the motor a known good battery to start off of?
