thhanks for looking!

I ahve all of that stuff in the car man, its factory, but I have no clue what clip that is for. And to me i dont care for the Gauge, its dark XP I like the white gauges cause they match the dash better :)

i have the prosprot too, make sure you have it wired right so its bright white during the day and then bright red at night. im assuming your gauge has two different colors like my prosport, but yea i have mine switched between red and white so i can change it when i want to and not when my headlights turn on.

The bigger box is the stock "alarm" and the smaller box zip tied to the wire is the factory vibration sensor. thats what makes the alarm go off if someone bumps the car or in my case theres a thunder strike near by or my neighbor with the mustang starts his car. the clip im not sure off the top of my head, it could be the factory plug for factory fog lights. even if you dont have fogs the relay and wiring from the switch all the way up to the bumper are still there.

Thanks for the photos SCMP3.

The gauge pod appears to fit just fine, but it does not match the lower section exactly. My concern, however, is that the double-sided tape may not hold sufficiently well and thus lead to vibrations in the pod over time, or that the pod may loosen up and move around since it does not clip in like the OEM piece.

I would like hear some feedback that might assuage my concerns from those of you that have had the gauge pod installed for some time.

Got the same setup too. I had that gauge pod but i ditched it and used the prosport gauge pod. It irritated me cause i couldnt see my mileage. I like the gauge but damn its loud when u start it up.

Thanks everyone for the opinions. i still want to wire up the red wire to the headlight switch but i have no idea what wire to tap. i want the red to be on with the headlights and the white to be on during the day.

your gauge is loud?? is it mechanical or electric?

It makes that beeping noise when u turn it on. Im not sure which i got but it looks just like urs.

mine makes no noise at all.

and to the question of the apexi TT i have no idea. it was already in the car. i can try to get pics of what wires tap in where if you like.

yup, been here for a while. things went well, alternator turned out not to be the prob (found this out after the install) while working on the car noticed a ground wire to the fuse block not connected. put it back on and it runs like a champ thus far. also put the dg carbon fiber hood on. might sell it tho. dont know it i like it as much as i thought it would.

nice gauge install! looks a lot like my setup [although i run a DEFI boost gauge ;-)] we even share the same turbo timer!

i had my silver d gauge in a steering wheel pod at one point. now i run d gauge boost and egt and an aem wide band under the radio. still have my steering wheel pod laying around somewhere. makes me sad how i paid $90 way back in the day for it and they go for $30 brand new now...
