Hey all!

It's been a while since I've posted...I've been devoting all of my time to watching my beloved Cubs inch closer to another postseason appearance!! Go, Cubs, Go!

Anyway...beautiful day here in Chi-Town, so I gave her a quick wash. Notice my new addition under the hood?! MS CAI, baby!!

She just turned 1K...it's amazing how quickly they grow up...

There is a significant feel in power increase. I'm having a much more difficult time keeping those front wheels glued to the ground!(burnout)

The CAI was part of the negotiation when I bought the car. Dealership offered $70 labor for installation...couldn't beat that!

wow! that's a great deal! at my dealership, they normally charge for 1.5 hrs of labor at $96/hour, so that's about $150 total...=/ how long did you have to play around with the car before they put in the CAI?

I had the car maybe three weeks before the CAI came in. About 3 hours at the dealer, and I was "whoosh"ing my way home. The sound does turn some heads...not what I was looking for...but the power increase justifys!

I love the sound it makes. I also like that fact the it makes the sound in high Rpms... b/c im trying to keep that sleeper feel. Thats why i dont want the Blow off valve. My next and second to last performance mod will be the Mazdaspeed CAT Back.

Oh, the CAI sound is lovely.. Personally, I want all the sound(s), since it is a high-performance model, as opposed to a base model (any make) with a loud exhaust slapped on it JUST for the purpose of turning heads.

Go take that front plate off and hang it in your garage - then go get yourself some Zaino products and rip those side moldings right off.. Or not.

Looks nice though. I can't help wishing they also came in gray, laser blue, and white.. But I'm into silver too (2thumbs)

MS CB exhaust will be the next addition...I'm currently having a hard time with my Cubs!

But I love my car...ran into a silver Speed6 the other day, and the guy was great...felt like we were family...probably could've smoked him if my daughter wasn't in the back!!
