because i have a dx, which didnt come with a tach...so i put one in. and now i got an es cluster that has a tach but i stupidly drilled into the dash to instal my tach when i first got my car...i dont want 3 holes just sitting there on my dash...believe me i dont want both of them but would rather it than the holes

You could glue some action figures over the holes..

Nope! The housing are actually painted... very common mod.

The how-to that I used was actually written by ghost, but IDK where it went...
If you call DGM, ask for Amie and tell her you're a forum member. Make sure you emphasize that you want fiberglass eyelids... she should be able to dig some up for you, and possibly hook you up (thumb)
