Some Lamin-x questions

hey all. I am contemplating getting some lamin-x for my heads and tails but first have a few questions. firstly, with the tails, do people cut out around the reverse light or just leave it? secondly, for the heads, the previous owner of the car got the drivers side one scrapped up a bit, like a big gash. will the film adhere to the light? and will it cover up the scratch as if it were not there? because that is the purpose why I am interested. also, will 5k HIDs melt the film?

also, the videos on the website seem pretty straight forward. is it really that easy?

thanks for the help,
Mike

I've done my fogs, and not my tails or headlights, but I can help you with what I know. As long as you clean the surface well, it will adhere. What color tint are you getting? Depending on the color, you may or may not be able to see the scratch. I've heard of a few people having problems with their fogs melting their overlays, but not sure about 5k HIDs.

Trust me, installing them will be cake. Just go slow and take your time, and make sure you prep everything well.
