last night was not the best but showed me i need to do some major sus. work now if i want to go any faster. im only getting 1.9 60's and spinning the tires into 3rd with 24.5x8.5x13in slicks. I hooked up a 2step to dump fuel on the line to lanch the car in boost. I was making about 13psi off the line. So coil overs, struts and wheelie bars are next on the todo list.

this run i did not get a good burn out because the guy pulled me to far out of the water box and it pulled the car bringing the rear tires into the water so when i tryed a 2nd burn out it did the same thing. ran a 2.0 60' on this run.

i was not happy with any of the runs but i was so screwed lanching the car i was loosing so much time. i was running low 11sec MPH so ill get it fixed and try again.

Its a 99 protege with a 03 front end on it. Swaped the motor out for a 1.8L BPT.(lots of work to do this)

I did run 11s last year. just working out new bugs this year from changes.

i did 350hp and 347TQ on 15psi on pump gas. Then a soft plug poped. I guess it was not in stright. But the motor will take 30psi no problem. Im rebuilding the motor this weekend then its back to the dyno. Should make 475hp or so no problem.

What kind of trans does this car run?

Its a stock tranny for a BP motor axles also. It just has a welded diff in it.
im also looking for some parts to beef up a auto tranny. But so far no such luck. This shifting s*** takes to much time.

Chris is doing a great job with the car considering the initial problems we are having. The car is still running a stock suspension set up and the slicks being used are not the greatest.

Soft plugs (or Freeze Plugs) are in the block. In the odd case of coolant, water or whatever medium one uses in their cooling system, freezes the expansion will push out a plug rather than damage the block.
In chris' case he managed to pressurize the block and blow the plug out, sending coolant all over the Dyno.
