Software for Information Display

Has anyone looked into or been able to access the info display software? It would be nice to be able show engine temp, volts, oil temp/pressure + ??. I'm sure this info (& more) is available in the ecu, we can display fuel usage, so it must be accessing engine data already.

The MS3 has a display used for Nav/GPS, it can also be switch to show radio station info, maintenance intervals and fuel consumption. I'm looking for some way to add a screen with more engine data rather than adding gauges or an plug in monitor.

That might be really hard to do as its all integrated into one unit more or less. I'd try to find out if you can replace the screen with a dual mode screen. Flip a switch and you have your OEM set up and flip it again and you have your "gauge cluster." The computer and hardware for it would have to be mounted elsewhere like in your glove box or something but it can be done. Hard, but do able.
