Wondering if there is enough interest for a dyno day? I could set one up. Cost would probably be around $40 for 2-3 pulls (could easily change tho)

Post up if you are interested and whether a Sat or Sun would work best for you.

Darryl, how about at the end of November on a Saturday?

If you can do it then, I'm in.

How much does the place charge for a non-group day pull?

Thanx

Probably Gardena, but it will depend on which shop will give us the best deal. MOst likely in the Orange County/LA County area. Try to keep in central for the SD/SB peeps.

here we go...

Where: Actual shop is yet to be determined. But it will be in the Orange County/lower LA County area to help ppl from SD and SB not to have to drive forever.

When: the weekends of 8/9 or 22/23 in November.

Cost: Will depend on the amount of ppl coming and the amount of silver tounge i have to get the best deal.

Why: to see how much power you DON'T have :)

I'll have more concrete details later tonight.

Cool, hey does anyone know how to install cam gears?? I want to take advantage of this opportunity to properly tune this damn engine and get dyno results at the same time.

Bring it by the shop 760-787-5759 Chris @ SPD Racing

Gardena. Are you talking about Zero Factor? Some dude named Oshimo runs the joint. He charges $100 for 3 runs but he tunes your car too.

i made some calls and got a few things lined up. I just need to hear back from the conacts and choose the best deal.

Shop 1 = Nov 9th, Sunday. 10-15 cars max, 3 pulls waiting on a final price.

Shop 2 = Still awaiting all details here, but if shop #2 can come out on top, i'd prefer it.

Anyway, thats all the news i have for now...i know, not much to go on. But i'll know more by tomorrow and Thursday.

I'm going to seek out another 1 or 2 shops and get it going.

Please dont postwhore on this thread. Sorry to deleate the posts, but there are threads to postwhore in, and there are informative threads such as this one.

Thanks Guys,
sorry again

Don't mean to go off thread topic here but where in HB are you. I'm always passing through HB I go to school at John Wayne Airport but I live in Downey.

BTW, I would participate in Dyno day. :D

Darryl, one of those weekends might work out for me... I'm i need of a baseline and a quick reading of what my current tuning has yielded.. What TYPE of dyno does either shop have and will they allow a little load tuning for me :)

I've never seen an MSP or MP3 around....

I think he said, not until January. Apparently Dyno shops don't respond very quickly. :p:
