Autocross looks like fun. I know almost nothing about motorsports or cars but I want to try. Any pointers on where to look, what to expect, how to get started? I live in the Inland Empire, anyone know of upcoming events? I've looked through a bunch of threads, very jealous of both the car mods and the driving skills you all possess. I have a stock 2012 and I get the feeling the driver side might be more fun and more affordable place to start.

Just get in touch with one or two nearby autocross clubs and jump in. PCA and BMWCCA also have active auto-x clubs in most regions.
