So, what's the problem with going to 35-40 offset?

generally speaking.
Low off-set = wheels stick out more
high off-set = wheels go in, towards the suspension more.

Our cars are happy between
+45 and +52 offset.

I use COBB's setup as a guide...it helps a little.
