me thinks the dung beetles have their work cut out for them in this thread
14 psi, alky injection, full bolt ons, except I'm on the stock turbo, and stock intake (stock motor!). Now I said keep up, I can't pull him, but he doesn't put more than a length or two on me, and most of the time it depends who hits it first.
Well, my car is exactly the same minus the meth/water injection but I have the intake and it was tuned.
His 350Z tt is considerably faster than my car. He's a low 12 car. As I said, either you're running close to that, or the 350Z TT you're running isn't right.

I'd say his is more of a high 12 car, something around 400whp, but it's an auto, and we have only gone from roll. I don't know how it would do in a dig.
Running straight alky is a huge difference though man, no water for me. Who needs race gas? Oh, and when I say intake I mean the manifold, just to clarify, even though I think you knew what I meant.
Hm, well I went to the local track here next to Orlando and there was one guy with a 370z. He ran mostly 14.6, and I think he finally got it down to 14.4. I'm guessing he was your average guy testing out his car, not a road and track pro tester. So what ever mags tell you, most of the folks can't even achieve because of lack of skills.

+1 Very true.
Also, I get R&T, and their time for it is a 13.7, not much faster than an MS6 or MS3.

Thats sad I ran a 13.9@100 with a stock MS3 at the same track in the summer (100f). Biflo right?
The MS3 has a way higher torque to weight ratio vs. the 370z thats why it feels faster. Since the MS3 is turbo'ed obviously a few bolt-ons should be enough to match a 370z no problem, from a roll at least.

Yeah, dealers will **** you on turn-ins. The thing to do is to straight-out sell your vehicle then go in with the $$$ for the next vehicle. By the way, I sat in one of those 370Zs during a local dealer car show. Feels like I was in a cockpit of a small jet. Too tight for me, but they do look sweet... another thing... tooooo many of those Zs on the road too. They are a dime a dozen. I hate that.... ya feeling all special in your ride until 3-7 of the SAME vehicle pass you by.
On a MS3 note. I get passed by alot of Mazdas, but 99% of those are the M3 (2.3L non-turbo) version... so I FEEL SPECIAL !

Like what has been said. The MS3 has more trq then a 370.. But do not sleep on those HR motors. I had an HR 350z and it was crazy fast. I took most cars that came up to me.. I was running with the g37 evenly and I had full boltons.. And the g37 has the same motor as the 370. 370 would spank me. I don't see an MS3 being as fast or faster then a 370.. Unless ur breaking 300whp..
But no car is worth it unless the deal is right.. And trust me your gonna miss the turbo OP.. I missed not having turbo. And lemme tell u. A 350z was expensive as fck to mod. So I'm sure the 370 is gonna be no different.. Your talking about 800 maaybe for a reg exhaust.. True Dual atleast 1400.. And 370 intakes atleast 400?? Its alottt..

I miss my 350 everyday, but at least i have a fun and practical car now. The 370 is pure sex...
370z is too pure for my blood. I sat in one during a car show.... I was in a cockpit NOT a driver's seat. To each his/her/ own... I'll just pull over to the right and give the 370z room to pass, and just remind them that it is not the fastest car on the road, so watch the size of your head swell... 370Z drivers.
The difference is the ELEMENT of surprise... almost all drivers, whatever their model is, know Nissan's 300 series, But...but Not many know about the MS3.
I get looks like "what a silly hatchback" from drivers..... Scions, Lexus, BMWs...etc that do not know the Azz wooping I can deal out to them

I must say.. Comin from the Z community and being in the local Z club on long island.. And just seeing them on the road. EVERYONE thinks there gods in a Z.. They refuse to go under 80 on the highway.. THey think is a porche 911 or sumthin.. Meanwhile there parents buy it for them..

^ ill agree on that...and the g35/7 as well. Is it me or is that the new douchy guido car. I do love the cockpit feel and design of the 370. I do not miss every asshole seeing and following and trying to race you though.
LOL.. it comes with the territory! Believe or not, but I get that from high performance cars on my Kawasaki ZX12. If they bet you = Braggin rights!
It would be like " Yeah dude, I saw a 370Z on the road yesterday and waxed that Azz! My car is a 370Z killa.....".
It is MOST irritating!
