well, had it painted
and they screwed it up

had to take the car in to get the clock/radio display fixed, so i figured that'd be a good time to paint the strip
i took it out, dropped off the car and picked it up the next day (free rental car, warranty work ftw ;) )

anyway, get the car back, and i notice marks that weren't there before

circled in red are marks where there never were before
toolmarks? :

buffed right through the paint to take out a bump, jackasses
you can see the fake carbonfiber pattern showing through:

full length shots:

Ewww... looks like you got f**ked on that man. $$$ back or monies to fix what those idiots messed up. Best of luck.

That's why I paint everything myself...if I screw it up...I only have myself to blame...and I'll just got back..sand & paint.

dude, **** painting.. why didn't you just buy the piano black trim piece that comes STOCK on the sp23 and install it yourself?
it's ONLY 74 bucks *retail*! the money you paid on paint, labor, and time could've just paid for the stock s*** that WON'T FADE and is glossy SMOOTH

yes TIME = MONEY
