It was never stated that it was temporary. So my sig was pretty smart assed, thats still not a reason to ban me, you could have said "yeah but no".

I tried to, but by the time I replied you were already banned and the message didn't go through. You guys keep pointing the finger at me and asking me for the final explanation when I didn't ban you in the first place. You know what happens when you assume...

Anyway, if I would have banned you, you would have recieved an email stating why you were banned, along with the amount of time you're suspended for. SO EVERYONE READ THIS - This isn't the first time i've been accused of banning someone that I didn't. If I ban you, you'll know I did, and you'll know exactly why. Furthermore, I won't lift the ban either, no matter how many threads you and your friends start about it. Once I make a decision about your suspension time, it's final.

It's hard for us to keep a balance. We're trying to keep the site PG-13 here, and if we were harsher than we are and busted people for what you're saying above, there'd be 100 more threads just like this right now.

You should have been notified that it was only a temporary ban. But nonetheless, you being asked to edit your signature was your warning. Your response warranted a temporary ban as a 'final warning.' Regardless, you should have been kept in the loop and told that it was a temporary ban for 1 week or whatever. But that's a different matter altogether.

i completlely agree and have stated this before. i think there are other problems that should be taking priority over temporarily banning smart-asses. i havent seen a legitimate reason for arics banning yet. all im reading is the s*** excuses from kooldino. aric was a smartass, so you banned him..........

if these are the grounds for banning then wtf? basically, you are sending the message that having a sense of humor (crude or not) is bad, but porn is ok. i know if i started a big fuss over how the 'hot girl thread' or the 'going down' thread is inappropriate and i want it removed,that i would get flamed like never seen.

Actually, yours truly started a big fuss over the HGT. People kept breaking the rules and posting nudity. I would ask them to stop repeatedly, but they wouldn't. So i shut it down for a few days. Then people started listening. Did I get flamed? Yeah. But you know what? Tough s***. They broke the rules, I'm simply enforcing them. They're the bad guy, not me.

so while you are hunting down the smartasses, half naked pics are running rampant.

And HALF naked pics are acceptable. Nipples and cooter are not. When I see either of those two, it results in an immediate one day ban, and an email to the user stating why.
