As for that...it's only been suggested...I didn't realize the rule had gone into full effect all of a sudden. We were still talking about implementation as of this afternoon.Aricjm16 said:This is why we came here, because it wasnt the "OTHER FORUMS" now its becoming worse, Ghostp5 started a thread with new rulse for advertising in your sig, there was a huge negative response, so he closed the thread, there was no flaming going on, just people saying they thought it was bulls***, I guess if we dont like somthing were kinda ******, and if they see we dont like it they just ban us for stating our opinion

The big problem is people advertising in their sigs. We understand the desire to link people to information about a product, but would like this to stop at the point of containing pricing information. Here is what we have worked up
NO.....
- Banner ads of any type or size linking to a commercial site in your sig
- Including active links to commercial sites in your sig
- Including a URL to any commercial site below one's username and avatar area
- Including e-mail addresses of shop/tuner/website employees or owners in your sig
- Even if you are friends with an active AV, Sponsor or AMM that does not exempt you from the rules above.
** Members who are actually sponsored (contractually) may have that sponsor's information in their sig. **
- All of the above applies for vendors who are no longer an AV, Sponsor or AMM as well
** An exception can be made if you have a link to product information for example a turbo kit or an engine management system (something that requires a lot of research and information in order to understand) and the link points to a page that does not include pricing information. **
