so i got tires installed on my wheels, and the guy dropped one.

i called a repair place, 150-250 depending on the finish and damage. so now i gotta find out if they are powdercoated or painted

alright i got the wheel back. the guy did a pretty good job, especially paint matching. couple problems tho. when he cleared it he did it outside and some dirt got in the clear. he said it should wash off with soap and water tho. also, i didn't notice till i got home and put it under light, he used a gloss clear instead of a matte like WORK used. dunno, it's gonna take 30 days to completely dry. it's not too noticeable, only under certain light conditions/angles. and it's not the best clear job. the paint match is perfect but it seems he rushed and halfassed the clear. he said any problems with it or the dirt doesn't wash out to call him and he'll redo it.

yeah i already have a new wheel ordered. good to have a spare wheel.. now to see if i can remove the donut and rig it to have a fullsize spare

i'm just pissed off a simple rookie move caused me all this trouble. brand new ******* wheels out of the boxed and one gets ****** up. i HATE when other people gotta touch my s***.

Wow, that sucks. If there is one thing I can't stand, its when people **** up nice wheels.
I hate getting my tires changed because they always handle the my wheels like s***. The last time I changed tires the guy scratched paint off around where the lugs go and I specifically told him to be careful or the paint will chip.
Nice wheels btw, post some pics when you get them mounted:)

i plan to this weekend, it's been a couple weeks so it should be good to drive around with.

i had some free time saturday so i washed and waxed the car. i've neglected washing it for the past couple of months. looking good with fresh wax tho, i havn't seen my paint look like this since when i first got the car. it's not just silver, i can see the metallic flake now lol. too bad all the chips and scratches pop out now.

Hey it sucks but you know what, the guy made a mistake, paid the dues. You at least should give him credit for that, some pricks would have dicked you around. Sucky part is having to wait so long, why do they take so long to get by the way.

yeah i do give him credit for maning up, especially since he's a known wack job.

WORK USA didn't have the offset i wanted so they had to import them, the date of manufacture on the wheels was around the time my order was placed. so maybe they make them to order?
