So how difficult is it to sell a MSP?

its just the economy and exchange rate really. American economy is weak as hell so right now everything is effected by that and cars are sold dirt cheap. amaerican cars can be sold in canada ya. the olny difference is the speedometer is in MPH in the states. also vehicales are just in general alot cheaper in the states becuase there is so much more of a competative market due to country wealth and population.

so i could try and sell my car on a canadian forum? and get paid in dollars? guess i need to take some pics and post it up.

ya do it up. i suggest listing in on kijiji.ca. if you are willing to hand deliver your car to a canadian buyer then i am sure u will not have a problem selling it. most poeple would be more interested if u drove it up for them other then them having to get it. just makes it easier for sale. doesnt hurt to try. and yes u get paid in dollars hahah what kind of currency do u think us canadian have??? :P

Vehicles are super cheap in the US compared to Canada. I have 2 buddies who went to the US to pick up used cars. One of them got a used 350Z for about 1/2 of the price that he could find it in Ontario.

Getting parts in Canada is a b**** though...with the exchange rate and shipping/import fees. Modding your car here is expensive ;)

well my car had 55k on it and was stock 6 months ago when i bought it and i got it for $7500 cause it had a dent in the trunk,(a nasty one too) but before it got dented the guy said he would have sold it for 9500. and he said that he had a lot of people interested in it and almost had it sold but than his son backed into it in the driveway and i was there to scoop it up for the cheap! you should be able to get between 8000 and 9000 easy, maybe 10000 if you fine a stupid high school kid and tell him its got NAWZ thats why it makes a shwoosh sound lol

thanks for the help man, i'll be posting it this weekend. i don't realy know if i'll be driving up to Canada any time soon, but i'll venture out a few miles to meet someone if they're seriously interested. as for the currency, i actually had no idea what canadian money is. things usually change once you cross a border.

lol you silly man you :P

might not have alot of bites at the moment. its pretty ******* cold and we got lots of snow all across canada atm. spring time around may-ish is when everyone picks up there s***.

Thanks for the heads up. I just posted on kijiji in Ottowa, Toronto, and Montreal. I figured those were the three major cities closest to me in Connecticut. Now my posts aren't showing up, I think it's because I don't have an appropriate region code. My area code in the states obviously won't work. Any suggestions on how to post something from the states on kijiji?

is $9,900 US dollars too much to ask for in Canada, with 84k miles? i posted on toprotege and someone on there told me that was like $13,000 Canadian dollars and 135k km. I'm not sure of the exchange rate between US and Canada. My car is also Silver, which seems to get the most attention because Canada didn't get silver. If any Canadian member can help me sell it Ill definitely throw in a finders fee for helping me out.
