Snows??

Ok, just got a '02 P5 and looking forward to a kickin New England winter (I hope). How do I get this car up the snowy mountains? Anyone have good snow tire experience in these cars? I'm thinking 50's are not the way to go. What can I put on for ugly steelies and snows for the white(r) months up here?

If its an auto don't do it, even of its a manual I wouldn't go up a mountain. It's a one wheel wonder which doesn't do worth a s*** on dry pavement, I fight mine every time it snows, and when it does forget about even trying to use 1st gear
