Does anyone have any reccomendations, I don't want to spend a lot, but I want good traction for the money, So if you have expeirience with snow tires, were they good or bad?

Hey, I lived in Salt Lake for two years and just moved to Michigan several months ago. You should be able to get by with some really good all seasons. There is no ice and they actually plow the roads there. Man, you have it made.

I just bought some nokian rsi snow tires, havent had a chance to try em yet but the reviews were awesome. A friend has some toyo garrit ht's, and their really good.

All seasons are okay, but if you have summer tires already why bother getting no seasons, sorry all seasons.

I have still have the Nokian Hakka 2's with studs I used on my P5 for all of 2 months before I traded it in.

Thay area already mounted to mazda wheel if you;d like the package.
PM me if your interested.

As for the tires perfomacne, I was racing snow plows in storms last year. (rockon)

Also, I am using Continentails all seasons from the tire rack on my STi and they where great all last winter.

pirelli wintersport is what I use, they are very reliable, feel very confident with these tires and their performance. Good price too.

Dunlop Graspic DS-2

Agreed. I just picked up a set (195/50/16) for $385 installed. I was surprised at the snow and ice grip.

Blizzak WS-50 is you receive serious snow totals. Michelin X-Ice if you don't get *that* much snow and have ice to contend with.

I have the Blizzaks on our P5 and the X-ice on the Accord.
