My commute is typically 7 minutes. I'm not sure how long it would've taken yesterday because we stopped at Johnny's Chophouse for half price burgers and then went home. We ZOMG'd and LOL'd when we saw the travel times on the 5 o'clock news - 200+ minutes on many of the Interstates. pwned!

Hey one upside of living in the frozen north...it's been frigid for 2 weeks now but when it's this cold it doesn't snow. P5 hasn't moved in 2 weeks, Stock Dunlop tires are no good on ice. go figure! Waiting on winter tires..hard to get since Quebec made it the law to have winter rubber.
Riding home tonight from Romeoville on 355 in a blizzard! (nearly) ... passed a bunch of cars like they were standing still. Front one was a state trooper. I slowed a little, looked at him to see if he disapproved, waved, and eventually went back to 55mph. The bunch of cars I left behind (incl. trooper) were going about 35. I wondered if he'd try to follow me but nah.

ya my car wasnt moving during the 1st snow storm where we got 11-13 inches..thank god for 4wd
