snobby MP3 owners?

I wave to the other MP3 driver in my town. Most of the P5s I see are driven by older people who don't give a crap. I've tried waving a few times only to get weird looks. If you wave at me, I'll wave back happily .

In fact I'll be there again this weekend visiting my bros.

I found an MP3 in Rockford, IL. Pulled up next to him, his girlfriend kept pointing at my car (as if she kept telling him, "look, just like yours"). I had my windows down and waived and he just kept the badass look and that was about it. So, hit the gas. . .good-bye. . .no match.

I've given up on waving to p5's. Too many soccer moms drive them and have no idea why I'm waving to them.

Its almost like the pro was only bought becasue a car was needed....
which sucks if you think about it.

They are prolly thinking that there are alot of crazy people that own pros and think that they are hot s*** when to them it is only a car....

There are not any other Mp3's in my area to waive to, but when I see a Protege5 I usually wave. There is this one red Protege5 that is right in my neighborhood and is driven by a mom. Her and I cross paths quite often. I decided to wave to her as a friendly gesture and she looked shocked that I would even acknowledge her, delayed but sure enough she gave a wave back and even beeped her horn. Now every time we pass even If I dont see her she beeps and waves .... Oh God.... What have I started?

i have to admit sometimes i dont see other mp3 or msp waiving at me and when i finally do its too late to wave. usually i wait to wave and when i do its too late

Every time I wave at an MP3, I get the stink eye. I don't know why most MP3 people are like this. The MSP crowd seems pretty cool; I wave, they wave back. I wave at an MP3, they look at me like they are sooooo much better than me in my P-5. So, when I see an MP3, I just look the other way.

Man....dont take it personal. I am an MP3 owner (Maryland) and I saw this guy with another Mp3 (Penn tags) and I waved to him but he and his passenger just looked at me. I shoulda ran their asses off the road. I dont care.....F*ckem!!!

I wave to all sorts of Protege's DX/LX folks seem least likely to wave back. ES and P5 drivers are about 50/50 split between soccer moms and "Protege People" like us. I never see MP3's on the road, and have only seen two MSP's and both waved back.

The most fun for me is when I give the thumbs up to a soccer mom type in a P5 who at first looks at me like I'm a nut, but then realizes "OH Hey! He's driving a car like mine!" and then they laugh and wave and recognize that they're "Cool!"

*Vent* why do people have to act like they are so HARD!! Give it a break! If I wave to you or you wave to me the natural instinct is to wave back ... Dont think that your Mp3 or any car for that matter makes you tough by any means. *Vent*

How many times have you said hello back to someone because They waved or said hello, and you thought that it was intended for you, but in all reality it was not. YOU WAVED ANYWAY.
Or how many people have you said hello back to and then you say, who was that guy? Do I know him?
