Some say is the the turbo, Some say u need A CC but i have a dp and test pipe. I installed the stock catback about a month now and no more smoke issue at all. I dont think is the turbo. I think the motor needs back pressure. I have a dp and test pipe and no more smoke issue.

I have never modified my exhaust, and it just started smoking at idle at startup until I drive off. And, I just had my oil changed. Would that be related?

When a TBE is installed some cars tend to get blow by on the PCV. This is caused by a change in the engines pressure characteristics due to the TBE. So yes if you want to run a full TBE and you had smoking issues then you do need a CC. I installed one and bam bye bye smoke. Enough said.....

Care to post a how-to on this since no one ever seems to respond when I ask?

The how-to is extremely intense....but here it is in a nutshell. Take off your intake manifold and install the CC inline with the PCV valve. I know that might not help but it is the best I can do right now. It is a 4 hour project.

dang, i was under the impression that the pcv was up front, with red and black and plugged into a port of some sort on the intake mani...didn't look all that hard to re-route...

i wish i had a service manual for this thing so i knew wtf was what and where, this ain't my hondas.

BTW, i found a write up for a catch can on an ms6; i am taking it straight from within another thread on this board-

works if you take out the spaces; again, this is already here in a searchable thread, so staff, don't shoot the messenger ; )
