So I'm wanting to puchase a ets SMIC for my msp. The reason um getting and SMIC IS because I do not plan going over 10psi. I'm having a professional tuner tune Mt car at 10psi for daily driving.

The ? I'm really needing and answer to though is I want to run and aftermarket BOV. now is this possible with a smic and Hardpipes are even running the bov amd bpv as dual. And if it is possible what do I do with the maf??

Please help me soon I'm going in for a dyno tune in 2 weeks and desperately need to know what to do here so I have to car ready to go!!!!

You'll have to relocate the maf if you plan to vent to atmosphere and then cap the nipple on the intercooler piping or cut it and weld it shut. I'm on an ETS side mount intercooler by the way. I have two different sets of hard pipes and 1 corksport set of intercooler hoses. Both my (aluminum) cold pipes are setup for the hks style of bov in fact I have an ssqv on one of them. I'm not using any of the hardpipes in fact, since I bought a hiboost fmic kit and won't be running a smic anymore.

Do you ever run into any problems with your set up?? I'd rather do fmic but the cost of a decent is just beyond rediculous. I'm not sure u know what nipple your talking about?? and where do I re loacate my maf to? And where will my bov be located

I haven't had any issues with my current setup at all. The hot pipe has a "nipple" were your bpv hose hooks up to with another one on the intake that will also need to be capped off. The maf will need to be relocated to at least 6 inches before your bov otherwise the car will bog down or even turn off. The maf will have to be relocated to the cold pipe.

Ok thanks alot man I'm pretty sure u understand everything your saying. I raced a del sol last night with and itr swap aND got beat by about half a car so I gotta do something about it..
