Wow, those are some serious hurdles for sure. Getting a new car out of it is pretty good though!
On my end, I just got the car back and was told there was a "low voltage event" that triggered the malfunction light. All they did was clear the "soft" code in the system (whatever that is) and I'm off. They say my battery is near 100%, so not sure why this happened. I'll be keeping any eye on it for sure.
Oh, and bonus, the dealer/tech's said absolutely nothing about the modification's to the car (paddles/hitch/headrests/infotainment hacks). I've heard some people are put through the ringer by their dealers for mod's, so I'm happy to report Marin Mazda is NOT one of those dealers.
