Small Seattle Meets

Considering we can never get anything statewide going....And Portland is too far for most of us....Why not get some Seattle area small meets moving, to build a bit of community, then these larger meets won't be such a push for people to step up and just go........PLus I'm fishing for a couple people who have a decent garage and want to help or need some help with some work to be done....

So what's the weather supposed to be like this Sunday....And where should we meet...Mukilteo Ferry????

I nearly broke down today and bought the Black MS3 at Lee Johnson's in Kirkland.......Had to contain myself tho....I really am enjoying not having a car payment....

Well...That's two....I would say 5 cars and we could call it a meet....Bump for anyone....

Out of town this weekend I would say you need to buy it... But I have heard only bad things about Lee Johnson. Anyway we have a meet on may 19th I think in renton. check out the other forums. you can get the link off of pnwmazda . com mazda club.

I'd love to, Still remember when our first meet started off with mike and rob then went up to 20 members, then died out... haha I guess everyone is starting to get out of it or something... Anyway, I will be in town on the 6-8th then I am going to Detroit and Washington DC for some automotive engineering meetings. If you guys plan something for early april or early may I can go.

I went...It was pretty cool...Those guys are all about ROTARY tho...really no love for pistons in that crowd....Expept the guy with the LS1 swap into his FC...

Well, Ive found a place to have our meets....INDOORS!!!!!! Could be around 20-30 cars I believe.....Lee Johnson's Mazda in Kirkand has offered to host a meet of Proteges, 3's and 6's.....I just don't want to look like an ASS and have like 5 people show up....I was up there this weekend getting some parts, etc....and spoke with the service center managers and they are all about the idea. They had a Miata meet that day with around 30 cars in their service center area...It's an absolutely amazing shop....brand spankin new and extremely large. They had a Meguires rep there selling cleaner and polish. So if we in the NORTHWEST can get some kind of "semi" official club going, we've got a hell of a place for meets....and I know everyone will be interested, but if this is set up and planned out I'll want people to have a bit of a commitment to the club.

As far as planning, I'm thinking this might end up working out for next fall and winter...Before we know it the sun will be out and I won't want to be inside. Plus, I'd like to have this type of meet be something that is sponser driven and incoporates a large committed club presence...which is not currently very strong sometimes. Basically, if I set up and spend my personal time to get this moving, I want to know I've got a decent group of people who will take advantage of the situation.

So what's the deal for the meet's coming up the next couple weekends????????? Where and when??? I know two are coming up...

I think there is one on the 12th of May....I'll search the other sites and get some more info...Anyone down for this Saturday...small meet up????? Any suggestions for place???? I just put in my new HPs and will be doing the MP3 ECU transplant in the next couple days, so I'm getting pumped.
