Small leak in trunk

I just bought a 2007 Mazda 3. Clean Carfax report. I noticed a small leak in my trunk. There's only a little bit of water and doesn't even touch the carpet. The water stays in the little indentations in the metal. It seems to only come in when I am driving the car. It is coming from the left side from the jack compartment. I noticed a small vent there that opens easily. I assume that vent is to release pressure when the trunk is closed. But I can see light when it opens. Could the water be coming from there, kicked up from the road? It is still under factory warrenty. But if this is the cause it seems like a design flaw that there may not be a fix in place for it. Any thoughts or suggestions?

definatly bring it in if its under warranty you shouldn't be getting water in the cabin/trunk ever in a new car...

Take it in if you're under warranty!! No way should you get water anywhere in the car. Something is wrong.
